NABE AFFILIATE
|
|
| UABE is
an official affiliate to the National Association of
Bilingual Education - NABE. |
|
| |
|
| AFFILIATE
ADVISORY DUTIES |
|
Each affiliate
is expected to advise NABE in the following ways:
- Keep the NABE Executive Board and staff informed
of local/state issues relevant to the national organization.
- Send a different representative to each of the following
meetings held at the Annual Conference:
- Delegate Assembly
- Resolutions Committee
- Nominating Committee
|

COORDINATING
DUTIES
|
|
NABE affiliates
are expected to assist NABE in disseminating information
to affiliate members regarding issues of national concern.
Affiliates are encourage to reprint articles from NABE
News in their affiliate newsletter, giving proper credit.
Affiliates are expected to provide information on affiliate
activities to their respective Board Member for inclusion
in NABE News.
NABE affiliates are asked to send a copy of the affiliate
newsletter to the appropriate Board Member, the NABE News
Editor, and the NABE Central office.
Each affliliate is expected to display NABE membership
material at its affiliate conference. |
